Dear Sam and Armando,
I am such a fan of you both and want to thank you so, so much for all you’ve done for me, my body and my health.
Sam – You are so correct in the point that you made to me when I returned once again to train with Fitness Concepts. You said something like “We spend a considerable amount of money and effort maintaining our cars, our homes, and other material things in our life…shouldn’t we put just as much thought, effort and money into maintaining our bodies, thus our health?!” I really stopped and thought about it. Wow. You’re so right. That really helped put the importance of taking care of ourselves in perspective. If only more people thought that way….
Well, now I’ve made a promise to myself to put effort where effort is truly due. My body and mental health takes a front seat in what I refer to as “my life’s maintenance plan.”
Through Fitness Concepts I’ve attained not only weight loss, but also a more toned body, lower cholesterol and a much better sense of self. Yes, it’s a lot of work, but it’s extremely worth it. There’s just nothing like putting on my “skinny pants” again, and not having to suck in my gut to get them zipped up. Needless to say, my doctor is pleased that my cholesterol is now in the healthy range. And, my husband is extremely happy with the continuous results. Having him tell me he’s proud of my progress is quite a motivator in itself.
A friend once said it perfectly: “Nothing tastes as good as feeling thin and healthy feels.” Well, that’s true. So, so true. And absolutely worth the effort that it takes to get there.
I’m so happy to be back on a program with you, Armando and Frank.
And another thing – I really look forward to seeing you and everyone at the gym every week. “My life’s maintenance plan” is just that, a plan. A work in progress. That being said, your support means so much and is such a vital component of my success. Thanks for that.

Hi Sam,
I thought the boot camp was great! I feel that Armando paced it well. I liked the variety of exercises and how he and the other trainers explained the benefits of each exercise. I really felt it afterwards. Everyone was so supportive of one another, especially the trainers, so I really appreciated that. I am looking forward to bringing my friends next time. Exercise and physical activity has always been part of my lifestyle. I used to be a member of one of those busy, crowded fitness gyms and was working out by myself a few days a week. My workouts not only because boring and mundane, but I found myself having to work harder in order to achieve the same goals. It was tougher to stay in shape and I wasn’t progressing in my training. I then decided to seek out a personal trainer and nutritionist. That’s when I met Sam and Johnette. I was impressed with his private and state of the art facility, professional and knowledgeable staff.
I’ve worked out with Johnette for a year and I currently train with Sam. They make a great team.

A Career Woman Working Out
Like many career woman, I find myself prioritizing and justifying the items on my agenda, to make my schedule work. With the stresses of work and daily life it is easy to let working out be the last priority. But, when we step back and look at the big picture, it is our health that needs to be our number one priority. Eating, sleeping and exercise habits need to be the first items scheduled. Working out has many benefits. It lowers my stress level, helps my self-esteem, and gives me a higher energy level. When I am working out regularly, I naturally eat better.
Sam and the trainers at Fitness Concepts have helped me to stay committed to my fitness goals over the years. I know when I go to the gym, no matter what kind of a day I have had, my trainer will get me focused on the workout and feeling good about increasing muscle tone, flexibility and cardiovascular endurance. I always leave feeling better than when I arrived.
Sam is committed to making sure his clients have individual fitness plans and that they have the right trainer for the results desired. As I get older, I am noticing that my joints need special care. This is also taken into consideration, and the workouts are modified as needed by the trainers. It is this kind of attention to details that keeps me coming back.
